What is a dynamic QR code?
The QR code points at a short address on wrix.link that we redirect to your destination. You can change the destination at any time without reprinting the code.
How much does it cost?
5 credits ($0.05) a month per QR code, paid upfront every 30 days (about $0.05 a month). 3 destination changes free every 30 days per QR code, then 1 credit each. There is no free tier and no subscription: you pay from your credit balance.
Are scans limited or charged?
No. Scans are unlimited and never cost credits. We count them by day, country and device so you can see how your code performs.
What happens if my credits run out?
The QR code stops right away. Anyone who scans it sees a clean page saying it was paused by its owner, with no ads. We keep the code, its design and its stats for 90 days; top up in that time and it starts working again with the same printed code. After 90 days it is deleted.
What can I download?
SVG for print and PNG at 1024 or 2048 pixels, in your colours and with your logo in the middle. Your browser draws the files, so they download instantly.
What can’t I link to?
Phishing, malware, scams, other link shorteners, and anything our acceptable use rules forbid. We check destinations and may disable a code that breaks the rules.
